Law firm under fire after posting drink driving memes on Facebook

A law firm that posted several jokes about drink driving on Facebook has been advised by the New South Wales Attorney-General's office to change its advertising strategy

The Sydney Drink Driving Lawyers Facebook page, which has more than 6,000 "likes", shows several "memes" — internet slang for photos with jokes attached to them — about drink driving.

The page is run by the firm Sydney Criminal Lawyers.

One photo on the page features a disabled car bay and the text: "Every 48 seconds, a drunk driver makes another person eligible to park here."
