LinkedIn Expands Streamlined ‘Boost’ Ad Option to LinkedIn Events
LinkedIn’s expanding its streamlined ‘Boost’ ad option, with users now able to pay to amplify their LinkedIn event listings via the Boost process in the app.
LinkedIn initially launched its ‘Boost’ option last year, providing a simple, quick way to amplify organic posts in the app.
Much like Facebook’s Boost process, the feature aims to simplify ad spend, helping marketers capitalize on early traction to expand their messaging.

Twitter’s looking to do more to limit the spread of harmful misinformation via its platform
With the implementation of a new policy that will specifically restrict the amplification of misinformation in times of crisis, including armed conflict, civil unrest and more.
The policy has been developed in response to the invasion of Ukraine, with Twitter now looking to enshrine its Ukraine policies in its official guidelines.

LinkedIn has published its 2022 listing of the top companies to work for, based on a range of factors, including ability to advance, gender diversity, skills growth, and more.
The data is primarily based on LinkedIn listings – so when an employee adds a new skill to their profile, for example, that’s attributed to the company’s development systems.
But if you were looking to maximize your opportunities, these businesses, based on LinkedIn data at least, could offer some of the best career pathways.

Instagram Is Updating its Ranking Algorithm to Put More Focus on Original Content
This could cause some headaches for social media managers and content creators on Instagram, at least in the initial stages of implementation.
Instagram chief Adam Mosseri has announced that Instagram is making update to the way that it ranks content, in order to put more focus on original work.

A Russian funeral service has sparked controversy online after posting its latest online advertisements showing semi naked models posing next to, and inside, coffins.
The 42-second clip in question also shows one model posing suggestively inside a casket, before showing another model posing on top of a closed casket while holding a sign with the company’s logo.
Naturally people online are up in arms over the ads, with comments on the Instagram and TikTok posts ranging from the outraged, to the absolute befuddled.
